Faith

Now for those who are saved, let me tell you that when you become saved, the holy spirit entered into you based on your accepting Jesus through in by the small amount of word you heard. When it did, power came along with it. "FAITH!" Faith is what makes things happens. It causes you to receive from God. It connects you with God by Jesus. Faith cannot bypass Jesus. You cannot pray to God and leave Jesus out. Things that you need by faith must come through Jesus. You must believe in Jesus and trust him for your deliverance by your faithfuness, honestness and truthfulness. You must have Faith. Faith is Power. Hebrew 11:1, "Now faith is the substance of thing hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." What this means is tobelieve in someone, in this case Jesus, someone you can't see, but believe he exist, and we wait for what we asked for, believing we have received it already, although we cannot yet see it. We know it's coming. This is faith. Verse [6] says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

There is power in faith. All we have to do is have a very strong belief in receiving without any doubt. We must come to Jesus with arms wide open. That is, submit our thoughts, our complete surrender, Our very being. All is given over to Jesus. Our thoughts must be that we know there is no help at the time or any other time, except the help we want right now. The help that can only come from Jesus. Listen from the man himself tell you and me about faith. I'll give a few examples:

As we continue to follow the writer of Hebrew 11, we see that there has to be something about faith that causes things to happen, and causes Jesus to take note of the situation. For Example: By faith, Able did not see God, but yet gave God his best gift. By given God his best, he was found to be righteous. His actions and commitment toward God, spoke for him even though he was dead. Able was found righteous by faith. Here it's obedience.

Enouc's faith was so great, God took him away. He really believed in God. His great faith caused him to be liked by god so, that God Translated or raptured him to heaven. Faith did it. Here, it's strong love.

By faith Noah believed God when he told him it would rain and destroy earth. He was told to build an art to protect him and his family. Noah never seen rain before, but God said it and that was enough. He knew God to be the creator and destroyer of all things. All power was in his hands. Noah new this and believed. He never saw a boat before, but unseen he built one and made it a reality to rescue him and his family. By faith Noah did not doubt.

By faith Abraham went to a strange land of promise, without knowing where he was going. He went and let God lead him. He obeyed, and received the land of promise for an inheritance. Abraham waited.

Luke 18:35... There was a blind man sitting along a street. He called out to Jesus for Help. Jesus asked what he could do for him. The man said, I want to see. This blind man is an example of faith. He cannot see Jesus, but yet he heard about the healings of Jesus. He knew that if he got Jesus attention, he would act. He got it by COMING to Jesus. That act of faith was enough for Jesus to say, "Receive thy sight: thy FAITH hath saved thee."

Matthew 9:20...There was this woman who was disease for twelve years with an issue of blood (flowing blood). She heard about Jesus and his healing power. She knew that if she just came close to him, that something would happen. She wanted to touch him. She wanted to touch the very sourch from which all healing Power flow. She tried, But the crowd was to thick. So she got down on her knees and crawled close enough to reach out and grab hold of his garment. She knew within herself that If she couldn't touch him, she could touch that which was upon him. When she did, something happened. Jesus felt her sincerity, turned and said, "Daughter, be of good comfort, thy FAITH hath made the whole."

Faith is our connection to God through Jesus. We must have it to call ourselves christians. We must have it to acccept Jesus as the Son of God. We must have it to be healed. We must have it to receive from Jesus, whether it's things we need in life or help for another. We need it to enter heaven. Why? Because in Hebrew 11:6 it reads, "But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Roman 5:1... Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. [2] By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Paul says we are justified, made right by what Jesus did on the cross, brought back to God by faith in Jesus. We are given peace in our problems and the assurity of our salvation. God has accepted us back, and is ready to give to us. We are also made ready to receive from the store house of God.

By standing firm in the faith we received, we can now rejoice knowing we have nothing to worry about. Understanding how faith works can cause us to live a much happier life when we know we have someone name Jesus standing not behind us, but inside of us, to guide us, help us, comfort us, give to us, hold us, rejoice with us, and stay with us when we are up or down. Faith makes us comfortable in what ever situation we find ourselves in, whether good or bad. And whether he heals me or not, my faith will keep me believing that there is a God and I am glad that I am brought to him by the Lords of Lords and Kings of Kings. The one and only savior for all mankind, "Jesus Christ," the Son of the living God. Jesus we thank you and bow to you forever and ever.
