The Real Christmas |
Bethleham - The place of Jesus's birth. Joy and peace to all! |
It's Christmas time again. It seems like it was just a few months ago when this joyful day was upon us. Christmas is the time we celebrate the birth of Jesus. His birth was not on December 25th, but much earlier, somewhere between September and January. No one really knows when he was born. Thats not important, at least not important enough for us to worry about. The fact is, he was born, and that's the important part. So we're taking the time to say thank you! That's right! We're saying thanks to Jesus for being born just to die for us so that our sins may be forgiven us. He was born to die so we can live. Those that accept him, that is.Christmas is a time for much joyfulness in the heart of Saints. We give gifts to each other because God gave the greatest gift anyone could ever give to us. He gave "Jesus." Now - Why is everyone so concern about giving gifts? While giving gifts are very nice, it is not what will make God nor his son Jesus happy. You know what will make him happy and make you happy? I'll tell you what it is. If you will wrap yourself up in the word of God and give yourself back to God, this will make him more happier than anything else you will ever do. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. No greater gift can any man give for or to another, than a gift of life.
God love all of us and do not want to share us with anyone or anybody. Especially a Santa Claus. I know it will hurt a lot of you real deep inside to not to have a Santa Claus, tree, wordly Santamas music and the likes, but you must resist the temptations of Satan who urges you to take part. God wants a separate people. That's why he brought Israel out of Egypt. He wanted people who will listen and obey him. He wants people who are willing to stand against the things of the worlds and resist. I know it hurts, but hell hurts worst. We are very special to God. He do not like it when we share him.
This Christmas, pull know punches when it comes to rejoicing. Our Christmas is a great thing. The rest of the world don't understand that. Too bad! They don't know what real Joy, happiness, gift giving, saying thanks to Jesus is. But we do don't we! So this Christmas give to someone who really needs your help. But don't be like the heathens and give just on Christmas day. But give all year round. Buy the way! Tell somebody else about this day and ask them to join you in giving Jesus all the praise, blessing, honor and glory. Tell them this is the right time to give themselves back to God as a gift of thanks.
So, put out those nativity scenes, hang those bows of any color, burn those candles of light. Enjoy those things relating to a celebration like food, colas, spiritual Christmas songs, go to Church and enjoy the season with you family and friends.
So from the Ward's family to your family.
Have a Joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year!
