Christianity Vs Freemasonry from a Former Mason's Point of View

It is my desire to educate and inform Christians that it is against Biblical teaching for them to be involved in a secret organization such as freemasonry. In the areas of the way to God, righteous, and "secrets things", Christianity and Freemasonry are diametrically opposed.

Freemasonry, while allowing its members to be Christian, also teaches that there are many other ways--that whatever one believes is okay, as long as there is a belief in a god. Galatians 1:8 says that it is accused to say there are many ways to God. Jesus said in John 14:11 that "I and the Father are one." As Christians, we are to teach the Biblical truth that Jesus Christ is the only way and all other ways are false.

There are men in Masonry who say that the organization makes them better Christians. However, Ephesians 5:26 and 27 says it is the word that makes us holy and without blemish. And, according to Isaiah 64:6, our righteousness ( or good works ) are as filthy rags.

If what is done in the lodge was of the Lord Jesus Christ, it would not be done in secret. In John 18:20, Jesus said He did nothing in secret. Further, Matthew 10:27 says, to preach upon the housetop what you hear in secret. What are the Freemasons teaching behind closed doors that they don't want everyone to know? Jesus said in Matthew 12:30 that "if you are not with Me, you are against Me." There is no place in Masonry for Jesus. Freemasonry is not Christian--it is anti-Christian.
