Now we beseech you, brethern, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him. That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. + Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;The people in this church at Thessalonica are righteous people whom many was converted by the preachings of Paul. Paul was a powerful and conviencing teacher of the word of God as he received it of Christ by divine inspiration. The Thessalonians were dedicated to God and to Paul. They loved Christ and strived to do the will of God without given in to outside influences. They were not compromisers like the churches are today, but were dedicated lovers of Christ. Infact, they were actually looking for Christ to come at anytime to gather them up, and take them to Heaven to be with him. They believed deeply in Christ by the words Paul delivered to them. That's real belief. They trusted Christ to guide their lives, and accepted him as being the Son of God without seeing him. That's real love and faith. They were ready to go with Christ at anytime he appeared. They thought he would come in their time. But Paul in this epistle to them assured them that Christ would not come before certain events take place. Paul is about to show his ability as a prophet of God by prophesing the furture of the Church for the latter days. Notice that only Gods annointed prophets are in this book. All prophets not contained in this book should be prophets prophesing what is written in the Holy Bible. Any others are false prophets. There are no new messages given to todays prophets other than what is already written in the Bible. Here, Paul is giving a message to be received by every person who will ever received Christ. False prophets of today give messages to a few group of people, here and there. And their messages are not of salvation, because Christ has already taken care of that, so they turn to, "God said," you will get a car, a house, some money and anything else they can think of to convience you they are annointed prophets. They are lyiars. The only prophesying we do are from the Bible, from the word of God. For in 1 Corinthians 13:8 paul prophesied again by saying: Charity never Faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
Knowledge in the Lord is fading away day by day. Understanding of the word of God is being twisted and replaced by man's own self righteous understanding and wants, as he strive for power by doing away with the true word of God and replacing it with his own ways on how it should be done.
Paul said, Christ will not come until after there be a falling away of the church, and that man of sin be revealed. This means that people of our time, those who are packing the church full Sunday after Sunday will suddenly fall away. Meaning they will no longer endure sound doctrine. The Bible will become a lie to them. Church folks will start to listen to lying prophets and other unsaved worldly folks who will convience weak, milky, watered down church folks ( church folks are unsaved people, hanging around the church. They are not Christians) to accept worldly life styles, music, other religions, same sex marriages, men on men and women on women, and the likes. Church folks will even create contemporary gospel music, and twist the word of God by finding partial scriptures to support their demonic reasoning and ideals. Yes, before Christ return, you may just be the one to turn from him and be against him. The only way to be sure and stand fast for Jesus is to get in the word of God and dig in. Totally and completely separate yourself from the world. II Corinthians 6:16 reads, Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. If you're wondering what unclean things are, they are anything that are not glorifying God. If music does not glorify God, it is not God. You cannot glorify God with the sounds and body actions you took from Satan. You can't give God Satan's mess. Go don't want it. It's a slap in his face attempting to glorify him using Satan to do it. Rock and roll, country, bluegrass, soul, hip hop, blues, rap and other filty music are an abomination to God.
The Moody radio stations are telling parents and kids that it is alright for so-called Christian childrens to share their santanic music with God. They say if the words are in good taste and it helps them in life, then it is alright for them to listen to it. This is one of the biggiest deception and lies one can preach. Think about this; there are so called Christian children following the examples and praising unsaved performors. Yet, these Church leaders cannot see it. The fall away has already started. Night clubing, country and rock dancing, profanity, lovers of Russ Lombard, adultry, fornication. You think I'm talking about wordly folks don't you? In a way I am. But these are in the Church. I call them Church folks.
Paul is telling us that Santan will have help from the Church to carry out his evil deeds. Today we look at what is going on in the world and can see that Satan want have much trouble conviencing nations he is God. People already are catering to his every desire. The fall away has begun. Matthew 26;21 says to Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Jesus knows that the pleasures of this world is great. It is hard to avoid it. But he said to watch, be careful what you get involved with and pray. Pray so that you may have strength and knowledge and wisdom to be able to see and recognize the clever works of the devil. Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man. Don't make the mistake of second guessing God. You Won't win. The only way to enter heaven is by conforming to the will of God. You must remain separate from the world. It's hard, but the reward is great and will be worth it all when we stand one day before the throne of God when we will see Jesus face to face. Not to be thrown into hell, but to be with him for ever and ever. Amen.
